Dear Curlew Community,
We are incredibly grateful for the care and support shown by our community during this challenging time. It is a privilege to be part of such a compassionate community.
We want to reassure you that Curlew School is open and operating as usual, with only small adjustments due to the nearby wildfire. Gym classes will be held in alternative areas, and the Danville bus route will not be in operation today due to road closures.
The wildfire has had only a minor impact on some programs, and we are fully able to provide a safe and effective learning environment for all students. Additionally, if you or your family are seeking shelter or support, a Red Cross shelter has been set up in our main gym. Just stop in or contact the school office, 509-779-4931.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to inform you that due to a nearby wildfire, authorities have temporarily closed Highway 21 north of Big Goosmus. As a precaution, all students on the Danville Bus have been safely returned to the school, and they are currently under the supervision of our staff.
Please be assured that all students are safe and our top priority is their well-being. We are closely monitoring the situation and are in communication with local emergency services. The school will remain a safe place for all students until it is deemed safe to proceed with transportation or parent pick-up.
